The annual Volksworld VW Show this year take place over the weekend of 27 and 28th March at its usual venue of Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey.

A monster event over 3 floors and also a large outdoor area.

The Volksworld show attracts some of the Best VW show cars from around Europe. Some of the VW Beetles and Campers just have to be seen to be believed.

Aswell as a huge selections of trade stands from the UK Top VW Traders there is the Karmann Konnection autojumble section where you can seek out that hard to find remaining bit to complete your restoration.

Dubfreeze VW Show 2010 to me (will always be known as BugFreeze).

The 2010 Dubfreeze show will be held on 21st February 2010. At the usual venue of Bingley Hall, County Showground, Stafford.

The tradition VW Show season opener. Dubfreeze is the ideal place to pick up the rare obsolete Part to finish off your VW Restoration. Numerous VW Trade stands and private Autojumblers selling everything from wheel nuts to complete engines to VW Camper Vans.

Dubfreeze is a must visit show.

Why Not to buy a Rear Split Window VW Beetle

A great clip found on you tube. Of an early 1950s Beetle. These rear splitwindow beetle, Is one of the most highly prized Beetles amongst VW Enthusiasts and Collectors. After watching this clip it would look lovely in my Garage, but nipping down the shop for a pint of Milk in a rain shower this would not be for me!

The Split Window VW Beetle now very rarely come up for sale and when they do huge 5 figure sums are asked for top examples.

VW Beetle Engine Swap – Guiness Record

Absolutley quality video below. Shows how quickly an engine could/can actually be changed. To Be honest 2 mechanics can do a proper job in around an hour or so. This video does of course not take into account.

Items like Heater Cables (which are almost always seized) . The accelerator through the Fan housing can sometimes take 5-10 minutes alone if youve thin hands. Fitting and removing the fuel hoses can also be a right pain.

To do a VW Beetle engine swap on your drive with minimal tools and on an engine that hasn’t been taken out for a long while will easily take a day.
